Everything you need to apply — the admission steps, entry criteria, and a clear breakdown of tuition and fees. No surprises.

The Admission Process

Eight clear steps from first enquiry to your child's confirmed place.

  1. 01
    Step 1

    Apply Online

Complete the online admission form and the student medical form. Both are submitted digitally — no paperwork to drop off.

  2. 02
    Step 2

    Provide Documents

Submit a copy of the student's and parents' ID or passport, birth certificate, up-to-date vaccination record, and the two most recent school reports (for applicants entering KG3 and above).

  3. 03
    Step 3

    Assessment Date Is Set

Our Admissions team reviews your file and contacts you to schedule your child's assessment at a time that suits your family.

  4. 04
    Step 4

    Submit the Assessment Fee

The assessment fee is SR 500 for KG levels and SR 1,000 for Elementary. It is non-refundable and must be settled before the assessment date.

  5. 05
    Step 5

    Attend the Assessment

Your child is assessed in a warm, play-based setting appropriate to their age — covering Arabic, English and Maths readiness for older applicants.

  6. 06
    Step 6

    Parent Interview

You'll meet a member of our leadership team. We'll walk you through the IB approach at BMIS and answer everything on your mind.

  7. 07
    Step 7

    Acceptance Decision

You'll be notified of the outcome: a place offered, a place offered for a later intake, or a position on the waiting list.

  8. 08
    Step 8

    Secure Your Child's Place

Pay the seat reservation fee and the registration fee to confirm enrolment, then settle the first tuition instalment by the due date.

Admission Criteria

How places are offered at Bright Minds International School.

  • Open to All

BMIS admits students without regard to nationality, race, or background. Every applicant is assessed on readiness for the programme.

  • Age-Appropriate Placement

Students are placed in the year group that matches their age, in line with Saudi Ministry of Education guidance.

  • Siblings First

Siblings of currently enrolled students receive priority when places are limited.

  • Staff Families

Children of BMIS staff members are given priority consideration.

  • Valid Documentation

A valid national ID or passport with a current residency permit is required for every applicant before enrolment can be finalised.

  • Programme Fit

Places are confirmed once we are satisfied that BMIS can properly support the learning needs of the child.

If a Place Isn't Available Immediately

Some year groups fill quickly. If your preferred grade is full at the time you apply, one of the following will apply:

  1. 1

    Immediate Placement

A place is available now and can be confirmed as soon as fees are settled.

  2. 2

    Deferred Entry

A place is offered for a later intake within the same academic year.

  3. 3

    Waiting List

Your child is added to the waiting list for the grade. We contact you directly the moment a place opens.
